Chicken salt originated as a seasoning for rotisserie chicken in the 1970s, quickly making its way into fish & chip shops as a condiment for 'hot chips'. Nowadays chicken salt is plant based and can now be found in almost every establishment down under. It's Australia's best kept secret..and we are letting the UK in on it.

In 2015 I won a £500 holiday voucher for dressing up as a candle for a halloween competition. I bought a one way ticket to Aus and met my other half - Tom. Once my visa ran out I headed back to the UK with Tom who immediately asked me 'where's the bloody chicken salt, mate?'
We found ourselves paying over a tenner + shipping for our favourite Aussie delicacy so I thought I'd start my own.
I'm now a permanent resident of Aus but live here in the UK working in commercial property & interior design and selling chicken salt!
